What is Tampa Bay Moms Group?

It's the creation of moms who just wanted a way to connect with each other for support, events and real relationships. Motherhood is hard but it should never be lonely and moms at their core are all the same...

We want what's best for our children and that unites us!

So before Facebook became the preferred form of social interaction, before it was more common to go online from your phone than your computer, way back when moms found it hard to get advice and form lasting relationships... we created Tampa Bay Moms Group (TBMG).

Amazingly enough, we have transferred our websites success to social media keeping our online presence strong. We evolve with our members by offering them more of what they want and more ways to connect in the methods that best fit a busy moms lifestyle.

And our success has allowed our site, staff and members to be featured on

WFLA's Daytime TV's, WFLA's News Channel 8, WTSP 10 News, Bay News 9, Fox 13 News, Tampa Bay Times, Good Living Magazine, and Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine and shared on many other media outlets.

Whether you are here to check for local activities, entering giveaways, looking for friends or just have a question, TBMG has something for every mom.

Our members are vast, varied and unique and it's that positive community both online and off that makes TBMG not only Tampa Bay's largest local parenting and community event group but also it's best. We look forward to connecting with you.

Meet Our Team

Steffany Rodriguez-Neely aka steffany813 @thetampabaymom

Founder, Owner, Site Manager & Special Event Manager

Steffany is a busy mom and family advocate who loves to help others. Born and raised in Tampa, this native couldn't imagine raising her family anywhere else. Her passion is connecting and supporting Tampa Bay area mothers and their families as well as the community itself. She is a vocal supporter of Family Preservation and Reunification Efforts, Trauma Informed Parenting and Community Equity & Advancement. She and her husband have been involved in child welfare as foster parents and activists for many years with the goal of supporting families and ensuring children are given their best chance for success.

In addition to her work on Tampa Bay Moms Group and her Non-Profit TBMG Cares, Inc she has made a name for herself as a community event organizer, a supporter of many amazing local charities and as a contributor on many shows and a writer for several publications. She is proud to have worked with and been featured on WFLA's News Channel 8, WTSP 10 News, Bay News 9, Fox 13 News, Tampa Bay Times, Good Living Magazine, and Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine among other media outlets both local and national.

She is sought after for her parenting expertise but constantly reminds everyone that no parent, including herself, is an expert. We just all need to do the very best we can for our family and others as well as ourselves.

Rhonda Hoornstra aka Ralynn67

Graphic Designer & Social Media and Group Lead Admin

Rhonda loves being a part of this group because she has met some wonderful people through it. She loves planning and finding event's around the Tampa Bay Area. She grew up in Omaha, NE and studied Art, Photography, and Interior Design. After much thought she moved here to Tampa to pursue a career in Fashion Design which she has an Associates Degree in. She also has a Bachelors in Marketing & Advertising and an Associates Degree for her true passion Graphic Design. You can check out her Facebook page HERE.

She has been busy college wise , but even busier with her 6 children. she gained her Step-Daughter when she met her husband and they then added 6 boys to the family. Her oldest has Autism Spectrum Disorder. She loves Design, Music, and Reading. It's mainly why she surfs the web so much to find new and inspiring ideas.
